The Argive: Gates of Hades, Book I, Bonus Chapter

The Story Continues... Achilles and Nikolaos, left from Itea in the middle of the night. They arrived at the feet of mount Parnassus, where the rest of their team was waiting for them. Now, before them lied the real deal, their real mission. Stop the destruction of the world, by putting an end to Hades plans. They traveled to the ancient city of the Goddess of Wisdom, Athena. There, they hired a captain and his crew, to help them cross the Agean sea. Their destination was Tyre, a city captured from Alexander, after seven months of a restless siege. When the Macedonians entered to the city, six thousand men were put to the sword, two thousand were crucified and many of the women and the children were sold into slavery. Achilles knew the story of the city, and this was the reason he wanted this city to become his base of operation. He had a plan. The group was about to break on three seperate teams. The first one, the two Spartan brothers. Their mission was to track down the Macedo

The Child of Ragnarok, Chapter I

“So, you call yourself ‘The smartest man alive’ and you don’t know who I am… I don’t know if I should be flattered or disappointed.” “You should be disappointed! The fact that I don’t know who you are, makes you insignificant, my big snake.” “Look at me… Do I look insignificant to you? I am Jormungandr, the World Serpent! I am the one who killed Thor in Rangarok.” “You killed Thor? Man, I should have realized, I am talking to an illusional dopper… Thor is very much alive and what is this Ragnarok that you’re talking about?” “You sure are Mimir? The smartest man alive? The man who knows every corner of Midgard, every language spoken, every war waged, every deal struck? And you have never heard of Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods?” “Yes, yes I am, but I have never heard neither of you nor that Ragnarok” “That is because it has not yet happened, and I have not yet been even born!” “That is madness!” “In my battle with Thor in our last moments I spit at Thor my dea

A Second Chance, Chapter VII

Chapter VII You might be wondering who I am, or why I am writing this to you. Let’s take everything from the beginning, so it can all make sense. But firstly, we need to talk about the other me to get everything in order. I will try to keep it short. You see I was a God. I was as you would imagine one of those higher beings, that can do almost everything. In this world there is the mortal world were the normal people live - the humans - and then there is us. We… let’s put it simply, we are living in a smaller world than yours. These two worlds are connected, and we can interact with it however we please. My side, values order and is very careful as to what prayers it answers and how it interacts with humans. We are like a big family. All are of the same rank and we have the same powers. We help each other and carry out the duties we are given. These may be, from answering a prayer to something very, very complicated. Like this for instance. The other big part of ou

Zepar: A Buried Secret, Chapter IV

‘Your father won’t be able to attend your performance unfortunately…’ ‘WHAT? WHY? He said he would be here. No, he promised!’ ‘I’m sorry, Erevos. A very important meeting for his job just came up.’ ‘Whatever… So, who is here with you then?’ ‘Only me and the kids. Aego wouldn’t miss your stunt!’ ‘Sure… When we return home, he will surely find some flaws in my skill and say something like “I would do it better”, as always’ ‘Come on, you know he loves and admires you; he just wants to have your attention’ ‘Alright, I must go now…’ Said Erevos and turned his back against his mother and left. Gorgo and Alex are both sorcerers. The difference between them is that Gorgo specialized is a more aggressive, casting damage dealing spells, while Alex prefers the support role as a healer and protector. Sorcery is considered to be very hard to learn and even harder to master. Even though the process of studying and performing magic and spells is entirely different than the other

Mount and Blade: Rise of War, Chapter III

Chapter III Through Dust and Blood June 3, 1266 CE, In a forest 20 miles from Praven, Night After I recruited my men, I took them and I went to a valley, just 10 miles from Azgad. We made a camp there. We sat down, around the fire, in order to get to know them. Nothing important had happened in their lives. They were raised in Azgad, never to leave from there. In fact, as one of them told me - Fendrel was his name - the fact that they were recruited by me, was the most extaordinary thing that ever happened to them. "Before you came, we were just farmers, doing some fighting under Simon's orders, you know, the man you killed back in Azgad. He was a good fella that one. We did not really like him, but he was our protector, and at these times, with  all these bandit attacks and raids...". He stopped, looking away for a moment. Then he turned to me again. "And then you came. We saw you, heard your offer, we thought why not. Simon also thought of that, but he ho

A Second Chance, Chapter VI

Chapter VI After all that, this circle of confusion and anxiety ended, or so I thought. I went back with Alex. I stopped thinking about it and I just let go. I thought that it would be good to spent time with him, and, to my surprise, we had a lot of fun. We talked about old times and how we were as kids. We talked about the happy moments and the bad ones and we came to realise a lot of things, that we hadn’t notice before. But before all that, we explored the place we were staying at. Trying to find the history of the place, with no luck, unfortunately. We only found what we already knew. We spent hours in the house playing with some games we used to play. We were drinking a bit, so it got funny quickly. We also did the things, we theoretically couldn’t do as kids, but imagined to be funny. One of them was to run naked through the entire city and jump in the lake. One might wonder how that happened. Well, if you are playing board games and lose a bet once you are drunk, it
